March 5, 2010 – Riverview-Dieppe Tournament
This year CHRA sent a fantastic representation of teams to Moncton: (3) U10 teams, (2) U12 teams, (2) U14 teams & (1) U16 team participated. I am sure Crystal Palace, the Holiday Inn, Champlain Mall and Norm’s Pizza appreciated our attendance!
U10 Division – The Cole Harbour Chili Peppers continue to build on their fine season by going undefeated in Moncton and winning the tournament gold medal. All 3 U10 teams won more games than they lost – a great result in a high calibre tournament.
U12 Division – In U12 play, both the Cole Harbour Panthers and the CH Ring Rockers had successful preliminary round results before narrowly missing out on medal round action.
U14 Division – It was a similar story for the CH U14 teams. The U14C team narrowly missed the play=off round and the U14B team was eliminated in an OT-loss in the quarter finals.
U16 Division – Our U16 team finished with the silver medal after losing to arch-rival Chebucto in a heart-breaking OT loss. Get them back at the Provincials in March girls!
Jan 22, 2010 – City of Lakes (COLT) Tournament
CHRA fielded competitive teams in a number of different age groups at this year’s COLT. Starting with our Novices:
U10 Division – Once again, CHRA was well represented by our Novice teams. The Cole Harbour Bulldogs went 2-1 and the Red Devils posted a 3-0 record in the preliminary rounds. In the play-off round, the Red Devils won their semi-final convincingly but settled for the silver medal after running into a hot Riverview team in the final.
U12 Division – In U12 play, the CH Ring Rockers went a perfect 3-0 in the preliminary round before losing a close one in the semi-final. 3rd place out of ten teams is a very respectable result. Well done girls.
U14/U16/U19 Divisions – Third place finishes were the order of the day in each of these divisions.
Open C – Breaking the 3rd place trend was Cole Harbour’s Open C team. After a successful 2-0-1 opening round record, our Open C team settled for silver after losing in a closely-fought final – in OT.
Jan 25, 2010 – Charlottetown Thunder Ringette Tournament
U10 Division –The Cole Harbour Bulldogs went 1-2 and the Chili Peppers went 2-1 in the preliminary rounds. The Chili Peppers were eliminated in the semi-finals
U12 Division – In U12 play, the CH Panthers went a perfect 3-0 in the preliminary round before losing in a close game in the semi-finals.
Dec 30, 2009 – 35th Annual Sackville Christmas Tournament
There were a number of teams staying active over the past Holiday Season at the Sackville Christmas Tournament and it was another good showing for the Red and White of Cole Harbour.
U10 Division – All three Cole Harbour U10 teams (Bull Dogs, Chili Peppers & Red Devils) participated in this year’s Christmas tournament. In the preliminary round, the three teams sported an exceptional, combined record of 7-1-1 and, in the tournament final, the CH Chili Peppers defeated the CH Red Devils 5-3 for their third straight tournament Gold Medal.
U12 Division – In U12 play, the Cole Harbour Ring Rockers went undefeated through the preliminary round (including 2 close games). The Cardiac Kids kept their parents and fans on the edge of their seats in the Gold Medal game too – winning the exciting final 5-4 over the HSM Ice Dogs.
U14C Division – The Cole Harbour Ringolos started the Sackville tournament strongly with two comfortable wins before bowing out to an HSM team in a hard fought semi-final.
U16 Division – Like their U12 counterparts, the Cole Harbour U16 team ran the table winning all three preliminary round games and then the tournament final with a 4-3 victory over the Nova Scotia AA team.
Congratulations to all players and coaches on a successful tournament!
Dec 6, 2009 – Carol Walsh Memorial Tournament
The tournament medals continue to pile in for Cole Harbour teams. All four CHRA teams participating in the Carol Walsh Memorial Tournament at Shannon Arena skated away with medals; including 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze!! Congratulations to all players and coaches on such a successful tournament.
U10 Division – The Cole Harbour U10 program continues to have a remarkably successful season. All three teams are playing very well and, for the second consecutive tournament, the two Cole Harbour U10 teams entered in the tournament met in the final. Both teams went undefeated through the preliminary section of the tournament before the CH Chili Peppers defeated the CH Red Devils 6-4 in the all-Cole Harbour contest.
U12 Division – In U12 play, the Cole Harbour Panthers finished with the silver medal after narrowly losing to the Bedford Rockets in the final. The CH Ring Rockers also finished the tournament successfully winning the Bronze medal match.

October 4, 2009 - Rhetta Morse Memorial Tournament
It was a tremendously successful start to the ringette season for Cole Harbour! All of the Cole Harbour teams entered in the Rhetta Morse Memorial Tournament made it to their respective finals – including a U10 (Novice) final featuring 2 Cole Harbour teams!
U10 Division, the final was as close as it can be as the “Pumpkins” bested the “Bulldogs” 7-6 in OT!
U12 (Petite) Division, the previously undefeated Cole Harbour U12 team played a great game but ran into a very hot Bedford goalie in the final and finished in 2nd place.
U14 (Tween) Cole Harbour team also had a very successful weekend going undefeated in the round robin and winning the gold with an exciting 3-2 victory.
Congratulations to all teams and coaches.
